About

This blog is a collection of things I’m building, learning, and loving — from visual design and affiliate strategy, to cozy gaming and coding for fun. If it’s creative, curious, or calming, it probably lives here.

Hi!

I’m the founder, creative director, design intern, and snack buyer at Redcypress Designs — a very unofficial (but very real) one-person project where I test design ideas, play with affiliate content, and build visual experiments in public.

This blog is where I:

Try out Pinterest design strategies Create roundups of products I actually use or find useful Build fun tools (like a real-time bus tracker for a now-retired beer tour) Learn how to mix visual creativity with thoughtful curation

I don’t claim to have it all figured out.

What You’ll Find Here

Behind-the-scenes looks at how I design product Pins Honest updates on what’s working and what I’m tweaking Real affiliate roundups (like FSA-eligible Amazon items) Tech projects from my dev world (hello, PHP and WordPress) Cozy chaos like espresso setups and dog toy photography (yes, really)

Whether I’m laying out a curly hair roundup or soft-launching a fake marketing agency, I share what I’m learning, what I’m building, and what made me laugh while doing it.

 Why I’m Doing This

Because sometimes learning in public is more fun.

Because I wanted a creative sandbox.

Because making Pins is a weirdly satisfying form of self-expression.

And because there’s value in seeing the process, not just the polished end result.
