Easy Weekend Crepes

Crepes sound fancy. They feel like something you’d order at a café and quietly assume requires special skills, special tools, or a French grandmother supervising you. Turns out… they don’t.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter
  • Pinch of salt
  • Optional: 1 tablespoon sugar or vanilla for sweet crepes

Instructions
 

  • Add everything to a bowl and whisk until smooth. The batter should be thin — like heavy cream.
  • Heat the crepe pan over medium heat and lightly butter it.
  • Pour about ¼ cup of batter into the pan and swirl quickly to spread.
  • Cook until the edges lift, flip, and cook briefly on the other side.
  • Stack and repeat.

Maple syrup
Whipped cream
Fresh berries
A dusting of powdered sugar
