Creamy Greek Yogurt Cucumber Dip with Chili Crunch & Salmon
Some recipes start with a plan.
This one started with a fridge check and a craving for something cool, creamy, and just a little spicy.

I wanted a dip that felt fresh but still satisfying — something you could snack on for lunch, serve as an appetizer, or keep in the fridge for those “I just need something good” moments. Greek yogurt became the base, cucumbers became the dippers, and the rest came together naturally.
The result is a creamy cucumber dip with lime, chili crunch, jalapeños, dill, and honey — paired with thick cucumber slices and salmon for dipping or scooping.
This dip was inspired by a Greek yogurt cucumber dip I saw on TikTok by Diana Konfederat. I added salmon and styled it as a fresh, savory snack.
Why This Dip Works
This dip hits a lot of notes at once:
- Creamy from Greek yogurt
- Bright from fresh lime juice
- Spicy from chili crunch and jalapeños
- Fresh from dill
- Balanced with just a touch of honey
The thick cucumber slices keep everything crisp and refreshing, while the salmon adds richness and makes it feel more like a small plate than a snack.
You can keep it light, or you can turn it into something more filling depending on how you serve it.
Ingredients
For the Dip
- Greek yogurt (plain, full-fat works best)
- Fresh lime juice
- Chili crunch
- Jalapeños, thinly sliced
- Fresh dill, finely chopped
- Honey
- Salt, to taste
For Serving
- Thick cucumber slices (cut into rounds or spears)
- Salmon (served alongside or flaked into the dip)
How to Make the Dip
- Start with the base
Add Greek yogurt to a bowl and smooth it out with a spoon. - Brighten it up
Stir in fresh lime juice until the dip tastes light and tangy. - Add heat and texture
Mix in chili crunch and sliced jalapeños. Adjust depending on how spicy you like things. - Finish with herbs and balance
Fold in chopped dill and drizzle in honey. Add a pinch of salt and taste — this is where everything comes together. - Serve
Spoon the dip into a shallow bowl and serve with thick cucumber slices and salmon on the side, or layered together if you prefer.
I usually slice the thick cucumbers and jalapenos with my OXO adjustable mandoline to which makes the slices evenly cut (it’s one of my most-used kitchen tools).
Serving Ideas
This dip is very forgiving and works in a lot of ways:
- As a snack or light lunch with cucumbers and salmon
- As an appetizer for casual get-togethers
- Spread onto toast or crackers
- Spoon it into a bowl and top with extra chili crunch and dill
You can also thin it slightly with more lime juice if you want a more sauce-like consistency.
Make It Your Own
A few easy variations if you want to change things up:
- Swap honey for maple syrup
- Add garlic or garlic powder for more depth
- Use smoked salmon for a stronger flavor
- Add capers for a briny contrast
This is the kind of dip that invites experimentation.
Final Thoughts
This cucumber dip didn’t come from a recipe card — it came from intuition, ingredients I already loved, and letting flavors guide the process. Those are often the dishes that stick around the longest.
Cool, creamy, a little spicy, and endlessly adaptable — this one’s worth keeping in rotation.
