Two small glass bottles filled with deep red beet juice sit on a stained wooden cutting board in front of a silver juicer.

Juice Recipe: Tropical Beet Glow

🍍This one’s bold, energizing, and surprisingly addictive.

Ingredients:

  • 1 small beet

  • 1 heaping cup of fresh pineapple (or frozen chunks if you’re in a pinch)

  • 1 thumb of fresh ginger

Flavor Profile:
Sweet, sharp, and spicy — like a beach vacation with attitude.

Why I Love It:
Pineapple totally balances out the beet flavor, and ginger gives it that metabolism-boosting kick. I love this one post-workout or mid-afternoon when I need a reset.

💡 Beet Pulp Bonus: What to Do With It

If you’ve ever juiced beets, you know the pulp is vibrant. Don’t toss it! Here are a few quick ideas:

  • Compost it for a supercharged garden

  • Add it to veggie fritters with a little flour, egg, and seasoning

  • Mix it into dog treats with oats and peanut butter (if your pup handles beets well!)

  • Stir into hummus for a shocking pink snack

🧃 A Few Juicing Tips:

  • Beets stain — hands, countertops, cute shirts. Juice with caution and maybe an apron.

  • If the beet taste is too strong, start with half a beet and work your way up.

  • Always alternate juicy and dry ingredients to keep your juicer flowing.

Wrap-Up:

Beets don’t have to be intimidating. With the right combos, they’re not just tolerable — they’re totally craveable. These two juices are now part of my regular rotation, and I hope they’ll find a place in yours too.
